Equipment and Casting

Casting, Props and codes of dress:

We chose a female victim, and a male protagonist. This was mainly to emphasise the idea and conform to the stereotype that women are weaker and more innocent than men. The protagonist will be wearing a wet suit. The main reason for this is to obviously make sure he does not freeze in the water; however as the victim will not be wearing clothes that are visible to the viewer, it will add to the idea that the male is almost protected and less vulnerable due to the protective clothing he is wearing. We chose Rowan

to act as our protagonist as he performs at the Hazlett Theatre at

least once a week and has good acting experiance.

This was extremely benificial to us as we did not

have to cast outside of our group.
